Mrs. Jaya Krishna Das has been awarded as ” DR. ApJ Abdul Kalam Award ” in the category of ” Singing” for her great achievements in this field. She has also been awarded multiple times from various platforms for her outstanding contribution in the field of Education and Social Activities. In the Ministry of Education she has worked for several years as Chief Examiner of the State, Member of Board of Studies & Head of Department. Presently she is working with several social teams to contribute for the betterment of society in India. Right from her school days singing has always been her passion which she followed as well.She has studied Carnatic Music from the famous Carnatic Singer Chembai Vaidyanathan ‘s discipline Mani from Coimbatore. Then she learnt light music from A.P. Komalam, Singer & AIR artiste and became an AIR artiste. Hindustani Music she has learnt from Lalitha Sharma, disciple of Pandit Jasraj and Founder of Swaraangan, school for Hindustani Music. She was also a student of Ananth Vaidyanathan, Singing Trainer and leading Voice expert. She never let her age intervene in her achievements and she is a true role model for our generation.
